What is Osteopathy?
Osteopaths are primary health care practitioners who can diagnose, assess and treat your musculoskeletal conditions and concerns. Osteopathy is a form of manual medicine based on a unique set of principles in relation to the body as a whole; incorporating modalities of massage, joint manipulation, muscle techniques and stretching as well as exercises.
Osteopaths may assist with a wide variety of conditions such as acute or chronic muscular pain, back and neck pain, joint injuries, headaches and migraines, shoulder and elbow pain, pregnancy related pain and pain associated with arthritic and degenerative changes.
You don’t need a referral to see an Osteopath. You can claim Osteopathic treatment on your private health insurance extras, and we also accept Medicare care plans from your GP.
If you are unsure if Osteopathy can help you Dr Adriana offers free 15 minute telehealth consultations so that you can ask any questions you may have before committing to an appointment.
